Gantry Youth Theatre is a registered charity, award-winning and we believe, the oldest youth theatre in Southampton (since 1989). We are incredibly proud of our heritage.
We offer performance opportunities for ages 6 to 18, which include not only acting, but also participation in a socially creative experience, which fosters teamwork, confidence building and self-expression. All our experienced tutors have enhanced DBS certificates.
Our weekly classes offer a mix of drama/musical theatre skills, drama-related fun, activities and games, working towards twice yearly showcase performances.
There are two major productions annually, a Summer show and a Pantomime. Gantry members and non-members are invited to audition for these productions.
Gantry offer themed holiday workshops and we are proud to work with local schools to provide after school clubs.
As a registered charity, all money raised is used to directly benefit our members by creating new and exciting opportunities.
